I’m not sure how I fit so many good writing sessions in around all the family stuff in July. Swim team, the summer show for the kids’ ballet company, driving to and from viola camp every day for weeks, preparing for scout camp, and then drying out all the wet gear that came home from scout camp. There were a few lovely days of overlap when Spouse and Older Kid were at scout camp and Younger Kid had six hours a day of viola, and I finally got to spend enough long blocks of time with the book to really feel the progress.
